Back in September we teamed up with the talented Mandy from Mi Amore Photography to do a styled wedding photoshoot at Aldea at Tlaquepaque. We have anxiously been waiting to receive the pictures and we are now so thrilled to be sharing them! The concept for the photoshoot was that perfect mix of classic, holiday fun with a slight edge. The details fell into place perfectly, from the grooms sharp tux and red velvet bow tie to the brides tattoo sleeve and crimson red lips to the dramatic floral pieces amongst the romantic twinkle lights, this shoot felt like a festive, intimate wonderland! Trust us you’re going to want to pop a bottle of bubbly and put on your favorite tunes and soak in all this beauty!
Shoutout to our stylist Renee for pulling off this classic edgy bride look!
Also, be sure to book Babydoll Weddings for any of your upcoming weddings or holiday parties!
Also thank you to all the amazing vendors that made the photoshoot come together!

A Day to Cherish is a wedding planning company whom we have had the pleasure of working closely with on weddings and most recently a photoshoot for AZ Finest Wedding Sites & Services magazine. We so enjoyed working with Cara and her team on that shoot so we wanted to feature her and her company for this Friday’s Friendor! Read more about this wonderful company below!
We have had the pleasure of being preferred vendors and Friendors with Piece of Cake for a few years now. The cakes they create are so creative and delicious and are also served or delivered with a smile. They are always a joy to work with whether on weddings, styled shoots or at open houses and we’re always excited when we see their name at whatever event we’re going to be too! Read more below about this awesome cake company!
It is always a joy when we have the opportunity to work with Fully Alive Photography; especially when a bride we both had was featured as a “Real Bride” in the most recent Phoenix Bride and Groom magazine! Tracy’s photos are beautiful and she has such a sweet spirit we love that we are able to feature her and her company for this Friday’s Friendor. Read more below about her soon to be exciting plans!
After working in weddings for some time now and attending my share of weddings as a guest I have come to realize that the food is probably the most talked about portion of the wedding; under the bride’s dress of course. With food being a very important topic we felt it was necessary to shine a light on Special Moments Catering for this Friendor Friday! To find out more about this great company and all the delicious food they make; read more below!
Something New Media has been one of preferred vendors for the longest time and it is so easy to refer someone who is so incredibly talented and kind. We are always so excited when one of our brides was referred to us by Something New Media or it was a happy coincidence that we have the same bride; either way we know how great their videos are going to be! Read more about the creative team behind Something New Media.
I have always believed in this phrase “it’s not what you know it’s who you know” but since working in the wedding industry no words have been more true then those. With this in mind we wanted to shine a spotlight on one of our preferred vendors or Friendors as we like to call them. Parker and Schmidt is purveyor of men’s formal wear based in Phoenix; suppling grooms and groomsmen with tailored suits and tuxes for 12 years. They have a fantastic selection and the Babydoll’s Team would suggest them to anyone! Read more to learn more about this local family business!

For the past two years Stacey Poterson Photography has been one of Babydoll Wedding’s preferred vendors and we wanted to feature her as our Friendor post! Stacey has photographed a lot the brides that we have worked with in the past. And with our artists’ talent and Stacey’s special eye for capturing the perfect moment, Babydoll Weddings and Stacy Poterson Photography has made a winning team!
Recently on May 25th Stacey joined one our artists Amanda at Soho63 (a hip and historic wedding venue in downtown Chandler) to produce a beautiful wedding photoshoot. Everyone was all smiles during the shoot and Babydoll Weddings was overjoyed to work with Stacey again!!
Stacey Poterson was born and raised in Arizona and loves the desert but dreams about living closer to the beach and is a portrait and wedding photographer based out of Phoenix. She loves all things weddings and appreciates all of the time, work and emotions that go into them. “I remember the feeling of looking at my wedding images for the first time after my wedding was over and the planning was done. It was an amazing feeling of pure joy to re-live the day through images and remember all the wonderful emotions that came along with it”.
