Handle the Heat While Staying Fresh and Dry
Don’t sweat it, dolls! As the temperatures begin to climb in AZ (can you say 96 degrees in mid-March #dolls?), we turned to our stylists for some simple tips to keep you fresh and dry on your big day, and the days leading up to and long after you walk down the aisle. All you need is some baby or talcum powder, a large makeup brush, and a little help. Simply brush a light coat of powder over your chest, back, underarms and any other area that may need attention (under the bust line or around your thighs). Don’t be afraid to ask your maids for help reaching your back. We all know they will do anything for you! Now you are ready to dance the night away with your handsome husband.
A Day to Cherish is a wedding planning company whom we have had the pleasure of working closely with on weddings and most recently a photoshoot for AZ Finest Wedding Sites & Services magazine. We so enjoyed working with Cara and her team on that shoot so we wanted to feature her and her company for this Friday’s Friendor! Read more about this wonderful company below!
Nicole and Abraham recently were married in June of this year, so safe to say we were excited to receive their wedding photos! With dark purples and light pinks incorporated so well into every detail of the wedding, truly made for a beautiful June wedding. As wedding stylist we really don’t step out to anything other than behind the scenes, but in all honesty those behind the scene moment are so crucial. It’s really important that the bride and her wedding party look their best. We recently had such a great time doing Daniella’s wedding at the Windmill Winery. Our stylist Amanda, Rachel, Sam, Alyssa, and Kedisha we’re total rockstars! Click more to see how the look came all together.
We recently received the opportunity to participate in a lovely photo shoot with Mandy Reed from Mi Amore Photography at The Landmark! Over the years facial brands have evolved. Before toner use to be really harsh because they use to contain alcohol. We now know that it’s best to use alcohol free products , as it can really dry the skin. Toners can have a variety of uses such as a pre-moisturizer, anti-aging, hydrating, soothing, mattifying, and most importantly to minimize the appearance of pores. A great trick is to apply toner right when you get out of a hot shower because the steam really cleans up your pores and allows the toner to settle in. Here’s a list of some of our favorite toners from our stylist:
