With the holidays over and a new year upon us we have already been planning events and so many exciting things. One of our favorite events is the Mesa Wedding Walk! This year is the fourth year of this fantastic event in Downtown Mesa! You are able to look at venues, meet the best vendors in the industry and get a head start on planning your wedding. Everyone here at Babydoll Weddings loves October, with the cooler weather to sweaters and boots to pumpkin spice everything. But there is one special day we love the most and that is the Phoenix Bridal Show! We all had a blast and we met so many fantastic brides to be, it was a whirlwind of a day! With the Phoenix Bridal Show this week, the Babydoll Weddings’ family is busy preparing for the show. Vendors of the Phoenix Bridal Show are not the only ones who need to prepare, all the guests who are attending should prepare as well! It’s a big day that will jammed pack with fun, food, information, prize give aways and so much more; it’s always best to go in prepared.

A few weeks ago Babydoll Weddings had the pleasure of teaming up with Love and Lace, a local lingerie company based in Tempe, AZ in kicking off the wedding season in style. We invited brides and some vendors to participate in this lady day fueled event! Brides were able to walk around our space while watching hair, makeup and tattoo cover up demos, they were able to plan out their wedding cake with Sue from Sue Jacob Cakes, schedule an in home wine tasting with PRP Wines for their bachelorette party, schedule a photoshoot with Stacey from Stacey Poterson Photography and they were able to end their time with Alex from Love and Lace who was offering one on one consultations and fittings to help the brides find the perfect piece of lingerie!
Every bride received a goodie bag filled with so many great goodies! We also had some great door prizes all given very generously from Hair Comes the Bride, Palm Beach Tan and Butterfly Petals. The grand prize was awarded to one of our brides, Mary who has the chance to pick out a piece of lingerie from Love and Lace, receive a new hair and makeup style from one of our talented stylists here at Babydoll Weddings and then to top it all off Mary gets to have a boudoir shoot with Stacey from Stacey Poterson Photography!
We want to thank all of the guests and vendors once again for joining in all the fun, we couldn’t have done it without you! It was a great way to kick off the upcoming wedding season and everyone here at Babydoll Weddings is even more excited for the season!
One of our Bridal Liaison’s favorite thing is receiving photos from events that we have done. In July some of our stylists were invited to use their talents for the Annual NACE event. They had a Day of the Dead themed night and our stylists painted sugar skulls on all of the servers and performers! They got very creative with gems, glitter and unique designs.
Then the next night was their gala which was full of wonderful speeches and ball gowns. Our stylists had the honor of doing hair and makeup for some of the ladies attending the gala. They all looked beautiful and perfect for a night of dancing!
