It can be frustrating when dealing with already dry skin and then trying product after product that say they will help but then never do. And I’m sure most of us wish our face wash was as hydrating as our moisturizer (I know I do). Well thanks to Micky our search for this perfect product is now over! Embryolisse Foaming Cream-Milk (Lait-Creme Moussant) is a soap-free wash that cleans and refreshes your skin instead of leaving your skin dry and crying out for moisture. This product is also great because it’s sensitive enough for all skin types! Thanks to Micky we’re able to get the best of both worlds!

How did you and your groom meet?
The weekend after I graduated high school, a mutual friend of ours threw a graduation party for all of us. Garrett happened to be on leave from the Coast Guard and in Arizona at the time and decided to drop by to see his old friend. Our friend introduced us and we hit it off immediately. From that day forward we became really good friends and that friendship eventually turned into a wonderful relationship.
We are dying to know, how did he propose?!
We had planned a San Antonio weekend with some good friends of ours. On the second night, Garrett managed to get one of the Cinderella horse drawn carriages to take us on a ride through some of the historical sections of the San Antonio Riverwalk (seeing as I am a big history buff and love that kind of stuff). He had the carriage stop in front of the church that President Johnson married his wife in, under the rouse that we were going to get out and take pictures. He pretended to trip out of the carriage when getting out and turned around on one knee with my ring in his hand. After 6 years of being together, he still managed to completely surprise me and our good friends (who ended up being our witnesses at our wedding) were there to capture the whole thing for us.
When applying makeup every morning, I and many women out there just want a flawless complexion and foundation that will last from day to night. Alas, everything I have tried has failed until now. One of our stylists Micky has this fantastic trick to solve all of my problems. She told me to spray my foundation brush or beauty blender (whichever you prefer to use) with a setting spray before applying my foundation. By doing this it will ensure even blending (yay) and a long lasting flawless complexion (double yay)! She said that even spraying your eyeshadow brushes before application will also ensure your eyeshadow has been blended perfectly and that it will last from day to night! Thank you once again Micky for making our mornings easier!
A few weeks ago Babydoll Weddings had the pleasure of teaming up with Love and Lace, a local lingerie company based in Tempe, AZ in kicking off the wedding season in style. We invited brides and some vendors to participate in this lady day fueled event! Brides were able to walk around our space while watching hair, makeup and tattoo cover up demos, they were able to plan out their wedding cake with Sue from Sue Jacob Cakes, schedule an in home wine tasting with PRP Wines for their bachelorette party, schedule a photoshoot with Stacey from Stacey Poterson Photography and they were able to end their time with Alex from Love and Lace who was offering one on one consultations and fittings to help the brides find the perfect piece of lingerie!
Every bride received a goodie bag filled with so many great goodies! We also had some great door prizes all given very generously from Hair Comes the Bride, Palm Beach Tan and Butterfly Petals. The grand prize was awarded to one of our brides, Mary who has the chance to pick out a piece of lingerie from Love and Lace, receive a new hair and makeup style from one of our talented stylists here at Babydoll Weddings and then to top it all off Mary gets to have a boudoir shoot with Stacey from Stacey Poterson Photography!
We want to thank all of the guests and vendors once again for joining in all the fun, we couldn’t have done it without you! It was a great way to kick off the upcoming wedding season and everyone here at Babydoll Weddings is even more excited for the season!
Recently we had the wonderful opportunity to work with a local venue Lavender and Old Lace. This beautiful and picturesque vintage estate helped create some beautiful photos! We loved being a part of these photos with hair and makeup and loved the chance to have our stylists show off their skills. From up dos to easy curls, smokey eye makeup to a more natural look; we really let our creative flags fly!
Our wonderful stylist Micky knows her products so when she says something is good, we take her word for it! The Lanza Trauma Treatment care is her favorite product! “Actually in love with the Lanza trauma treatment and think everyone should own it” says Micky. It’s a non greasy cream that can be used as a leave-in or rinse-out treatment. It’s an ultra deep conditioning treatment that heels hair. Micky also says it’s perfect for winter for anyone who has very dry hair to help control that annoying static.
