What’s playing in your car right now?
90% of the time when you ride with me in my car, you will hear Camel Country! I love a good country song and love singing it at the top of my lungs (but only when I’m alone lol)
Who’s your favorite superstar?
This is a hard one for me as I cant really say I have one favorite, but I really enjoy watching movies that star Julia Roberts and/or Sandra Bullock. Both of these ladies are extremely talented and who doesn’t like Steel Magnolias, Pretty Woman, Speed, and Miss Congeniality (just to name a few) oh, I may have just dated myself, oops 😉
What is your favorite food?
I’d have to say any traditional Mexican Food, but I can really never say no to a good burger and fries! Fries are my weakness 😀 and now I’m hungry… JK
What is your best achievement?
Staying true to myself and knowing who I am and what I stand for.
Who would you most like to meet and why?
I’ve never really put much thought into it, but meeting Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock would be pretty cool. I’ve seen them on screen, but seeing how hey are in person would be interesting.
What is your favorite type of animal?
I have a soft spot in my heart for pit bulls. I know most people are scared of them, but all I’ve come in contact with have been nothing but nice. I think a lot has to do with how you treat them.
If a genie gave you a wish what would you wish for?
ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!! maybe a magic carpet ride 😉 haha, not sure
TV show you never miss?
During “So You Think You Can Dance” I do my very best to keep up with all the episodes. A friend even recorded each episode for me when I was in cosmetology school so I could watch it when I had the chance 🙂
Best and part of a stylist?
Best part of being a stylist is getting to see a transformation in someone. Whether it be small or large, that’s what it’s all about. The satisfaction in seeing someone achieve the look they were wanting (color, cut, style or makeup) and seeing that huge smile on their face 🙂
Your favorite childhood memory?
When my sisters and I would play in our front yard. We had a huge tree that we would climb as well as a brick wall that bordered our house (which my dad always told us to stay off of! heehee!) As well as when we got a bit older, we would lie in the bed of our truck and look at the stars waiting for a meteor shower or falling stars. Sometimes we would even take a small nap waiting! 🙂

I drove to California, found an apartment, and drove back home all in one day so I could go to makeup school.

Earrings! I feel naked if I don’t have some form of bling in my ears, LOL!
What is your favorite color?
It’s a tie between turquoise and yellow, they make me so happy!
What is your favorite flower?
I am sucker for a bouquet of Ranunculus. And not because they sound like a spell from Harry Potter, but they are seriously just so gorgeous!
What is your music preference? Any particular bands or singers you are loving this moment?
Oooo! Country all the way! I cannot get enough of Hunter Hayes, Chris Young or Dierks Bentley! My summer is not complete without some boot stomping goodness!
Any interesting reads that you can’t put down?
Right now I’m currently burning through the Maze Runner series, it’s so addictive!
Any funny nicknames people call you?
My boyfriend calls me H and most of my friends call me Han or Hanski ^_^
When you aren’t in the salon or at weddings making brides pretty, what do you enjoy doing?
If I’m not hanging out with my boyfriend or friends, then I am usually painting or creating something. I love making art, any shape or form!
What is your favorite place you have traveled to? Will you be going back?
I went to Greece back in college for an Art History class and absolutely fell in love with the country. The people, the culture, the history, the food, the art; everything about that country has me dreaming about going back ASAP!!
What was the last movie you saw?
Saving Mr. Banks, it was such a great story, I cried so hard at the end. LOL
What is your favorite nail polish color?
Zoya – Ivanka. It’s this amazing mermaid green glitter that is literally happiness in a bottle!

I cannot leave the house without my lipstick. Without it, even if it’s just a simple color, I feel naked.
What is your favorite color?
I go through phases where I love different colors, but it seems like blue is my constant.
What is your favorite flower?
My favorite flower is Birds of Paradise for two reasons. One, they were my grandmothers favorite. Two, they remind me of Hawaii which is my happy place.
What is your music preference? Any particular bands or singers you are loving this moment?
I love lots of music. Classic answer, right? I think overall I am into alternative, indie type music.
Any interesting reads that you can’t put down?
I love to read anything and everything! There’s no way I could narrow it down to one book.

Most my friends and family call me “Car Car”. And then that gets shortened down to just “Car” a lot.
When you aren’t in the salon or at weddings making brides pretty, what do you enjoy doing?
I am outside! Hiking, mountain biking, swimming, running, boating, playing sports, anything exploring outdoors. I love spending my time with my husband and our families.
What is your favorite place you have traveled to? Will you be going back?
This is the hardest question, but I guess I’ll go with Fiji. I was able to live there for a summer and really got to know the culture and people and I completely fell in love with the beautiful island.
What was the last movie you saw?
The last movie I saw was Frozen with my nieces and nephews, I’ve now seen that movie way too many times.
What is your favorite nail polish color?
How do you chose one? I usually go with some shade of pink.
