What was your wedding date?

We are dying to know, how did he propose?!
I caused him to propose a little earlier in the day then he had planned because I asked too many questions and ruined the surprise! When he did propose though, I was completely surprised and responded with “nuh-uh”. He then had to ask if that was a yes or not because of my initial response! I have since learned to not ask so many questions!

image.jpeg4 (1)What were your wedding colors and why did you choose them?
Our wedding colors were plum, ivory, and silver. Those were the colors we both agreed on and liked after searching Pinterest for ideas!

Where did you find your dress? Would you say that finding your dress was relatively easy or difficult?
I found my dress at Uptown Bridal in Chandler! Our florist, Fred’s flowers recommended them to mimage.jpeg9 (1) copye. I had the absolute best experience at Uptown and recommend every bride to go there! They were beyond amazing to work with and the dress searching process was so easy!image.jpeg6

Where did your ceremony and reception take place? Was there any special meaning behind the choice of the venue(s)?
We got married at Ocotillo Golf Resort on their upper lawn area and them had he reception in the ballroom! Abe had been there for events in the past and after visiting there (and seeing thimage.jpeg5e bridal suite!) I fell in love with it too!

What kind of flowers did you have in your bouquet and at the ceremony/reception?
We got our flowers from Fred’s flowers in Tempe and my bouquet was a mix of flowers with various shades of purple! They looked amazing and Abe’s boutonnière matched!

What was the flavor of your wedding cake?
Our wedding cake was three tiers. One tier was vanilla with almond icing and twimage.jpeg2 (1)image.jpeg3 (1)o tiers were chocolate with chocolate frosting. I surprised him with our cake, he knew what the front was but had no idea the back  was super heroes for the grooms cake!

Did you provide favors to your guests? If so, what were they?
We did a sweet and salty table as our favors and it was a huge hit!

What details from your wedding that made it unique to you?
Our cake was probably the most unique, but all of the personal details at he wedding made it perfect!

Other than marrying your husband, what was one of your favorite moments from your wedding day?
I loved having all of our image.jpeg7 (1)loved ones in one place. Both of our families met for the first time and it was perfect!

Did you take a honeymoon? If so, where did you go?
We did not take a honeymoon because we moved out of state 5 days after we got married!

What is one piece of wisdom you learned from your planning experince that you would like to share with future brides?
Don’t sweat the small stuff! Things will go wrong but in the end your wedding day will turn out to be perfect because all that matters is you are marrying the man of your dreams!

Who were some of the other vendors that were a part of your dream team?
