In a bridal boutique in San Diego. It was the third one I tried on.

Stonebridge Manor, it was a very beautiful venue.
What kind of flowers did you have in your bouquet and the ceremony/ reception?
For my bouquet I had lots of bright colors and some desert flowers that added texture. I had colorful paper flowers for the reception.

The flavor of our cake was red velvet with cream cheese filling.

What details from your wedding that made it unique to you?
Having a Day of the Dead as a wedding theme is pretty unique. I also had a memorial table for those close to us that couldn’t join us on our big day.

Other than marrying your husband, what was your favorite moment from your wedding day?

Other than marrying your husband, what was your favorite moment from your wedding day?
Having friends and family from out of town coming to share that big day with us. Witnessing two different cultures and languages coming together just for us. It was an amazing night!
Did you take a honeymoon? If so, where did you go?
Not yet, but hopefully soon!
What is one piece of wisdom you learned from your planning experience that you would like to share with future brides?

Breathe! Learning that you will never have control of every single thing. It is a stressful process but if we don’t breathe and learn to go with the flow we will miss out on this once in a lifetime experience.
